How does one get into the animation field?
I want to be able to create my own cartoons eventually. I love the unique worlds such as Cowboy Bebop, or Aeon Flux… and I want to know how to get a job like that.

I graduated from art college several years ago. AAC in the bayarea. If you don’t know anyone who’s in animation field, you can try to present your idea and art work to the teachers in art school. Most of teachers in my school are not professional educator but professional artist. Such as most teachers who is teaching animation may from the big film company. Some of them fly from LA to give us class everyweek.
I thought you may start from their if you go some good stuff. But if you really got some great stuff, be careful with who you deal with. We had sign the contract that all our works belong to school when we were. I have known there some teachers keep student’s idea become their own…

Could someone please mark this English description for me, I really need a second opinion.?
We had to describe something, I chose a garden. To get the higher marks we needed to change the mood at some point. My grade stays the same with this piece, could someone, preferably someone who has taught GCSE English, give me a grade and their opinions. This is now my sixth draft and I have put so many hours in and can’t improve.

In the midst of a beryl landscape, surrounded by rolling hills, lies a cherished paradise. Ostracized from the hub of day to day life, this sanctuary is thriving in isolation. From all corners, sounds radiate like ripples on a pond: twittering robins, rustling leaves, the whistling of wind. Altogether they flood the garden with sweet, mellifluous music. Listening to the melodies are the gargantuan trees, adorned with a dappled amber glow; branches entwine like D.N.A strands to form a sturdy ledge for creatures in need of a rest; complementing their stay are ripe fruits which are there to take as one desires. To attract the wildlife, an extravagant coat of emerald greenery adorns by the mighty protectors.
Positioned on the borders, an array of cerulean, cerise and crimson shades thrive, resembling a stain glass window. Cascading along the perimeter, grand roses stand proud: guards to their territory. Behind the roses, the centre of this arrangement is enriched with vibrant pansies; these privates, although bottom of the hierarchy, are ready to assist the roses in fending off all threats to the harmony of the flowerbed. So I was just watching Saddle Club…?
And I couldn’t help but start laughing my ass off when the "wild stallion Diablo" loyally layed down so the girl could mount him and ride of to the rescue of the guy stuck inside a car. I also remember the time Prancer saved them from being attacked by… A TOY SNAKE! My mom actually yelled for me to shut up because I was laughing so much. I’ve got the schedule figured out on my TV so after Family Guy and Robot Chicken I can flip to Saddle Club and continue the good times.

I’ve never seen the wild stallion one but I have seen the toy snake one LOL.

I die laughing everytime one of them fall off. It’s so fake and then they have a delayed reaction to when they pass out or whatever LOL. Like the time Lisa fell off over a jump and went into a coma. It was hilarious LOL

Hmm, i remember that episode of that wild stallion diablo lying down, and ride off to the rescue, but they must have cut the car part in australia, as i didn’t see that, and cannot recall that part. I remember seeing the snake.

Lol, i found the horse that played storm, the abused gelding not funny, but heartwarming, did you know that the horse that played storm was called Dolly, which was Stevie lakes main horse Belle. Stevie had 3 horses that played BELLE I believe somewhere i read Dolly was abused herself in real life., the articlar was written by a horse trainner that works on the set with the original cast

I don’t think they were too bad actors, there kids, so there of cause going to stuff up, but i though the original cast was better, then the series 3 cast, my younger sisters get me to watch it with them earlier this year. I recon they should bring out a Pine Hollow version of the original with the original cast, the older kids, so they can still enjoy the times, and laughter.

I also found the "french" girl with her horse touching once they gang got her over the fears.

They competed in a dressage event all serious and everything (all their gear was really good and expensive stuff). Their horses weren’t on the bit at all, their position was horrible, the horses were practically jogging and had no flexion. It made me laugh lol. Just watching the saddle club in general makes me laugh so hard. My stable friends and I gather and watch it just to laugh and pay it out at the stables and lol at the fact that we used to be obsessed with it. We sing ‘Hello World’ on trail rides to lol.

I’m pretty old, but hey, I’ve got to watch something before Golden Girls comes on plus it doesn’t help that my grand daughter loves the show.

Lets see. How about the horses whinnying after every jump, rear, and whatever else activity that is going on.
Or when Kerstie couldn’t ride because, GASP, she lost an iron and just couldn’t possibly win the stable tournament riding with only one iron.
Every time the girls start to sing and it comes out off key, squeal like, or sounds like neighborhood dogs.

I have 2 horses of my own and we compete nationaly and internationaly so i think its so funny when i watch the saddle club and i always thought that was how the horse world is but it isin’t although at my show barn that my parents own i kinda feel like the veronica sometimes i mean yesteurday i wen up to my barn and this girl had one of my top show horses out of his stall and she was like tacking him up, i was just like ok what r u doing?

Wet Seal / Blue Asphalt Jeans dye colors? For all wet seal jean wearers?
I recently bought a Fashionista super skinny black pair of Blue Asphalt jeans from wet seal. I put it in the washing machine and it turned my other clothes purple!!!! I also bought a Fashionista Skinny dark sandblasted jeans, but I haven’t put that in the washing machine yet. I was wondering if anyone would know will the color come off of that pair of jeans too?

Also, for wet seal jean wearers, do all the their 24.50 jeans color come off too? I just wanted to save some money by buying their jeans, but if the color comes off and get my other shirts dyed, then it’s not worth it.

Also, is there any way to get the purple dye off of my white shirts???

When you buy new clothes, you should wash each thing by itself without anything else because they dye in them usually comes out the first time you wash them.

I have a couple pair of Wet Seal jeans and the color didn’t come off mine.

If the clothes that turned purple were originally white, you could put some bleach on them to get the purple out.

Popular kid’s story makes debut on big screen

One of the most widely read children’s books of all time gets the big screen treatment this week with “Where The Wild Things Are”.

Considering that Maurice Sendak’s book is only nine sentences long, there’s some fleshing out to do in this one.

Director Spike Jonez expands the story of a young boy who longs for a kingdom to rule and finds it on an island of unusual creatures.

“Where The Wild Things Are” is rated PG.

Gerard Butler’s out for vengeance after his family’s murdered in the thriller “Law Abiding Citizen”.

Jamie Foxx plays the prosecutor forced to arrange a plea deal for
one of those killers.

Ten years later, Butler takes down that killer himself,
confesses, but continues to orchestrate additional killings from his jail cell.

He demands a change in the legal system before he’ll stop.

“Law Abiding Citizen” is rated R.

More scares are on the way to more theaters this week with the wide release of “Paranormal Activity”.

This one’s reminiscent of “The Blair Witch Project”, a fright fest made on a shoestring budget.

Instead of the woods, the action here takes place mainly in the bedroom of a new home, where a young couple sets up cameras to document what seems to be demonic goings on.
