Bluetoes, the Christmas Elf (1988) IMDB rating: 7.20 Plot: Blutoes the Christmas elf is a wonderful story about an elf who does not fit in with the others; his only real friend is a penguin. On Christmas Eve, Blutoes sneaks onto Santa’s sleigh so that he can see his penguin friend home safely. Bluetoes goes into to a house to keep warm while waiting for Santa. In this house there is a little boy and a little girl who are too poor to even have stockings, so Bluetoes takes of his socks, hangs them up as stockings and fills them with toys. Bluetoes is waiting outside for Santa in his bare feet, his toes turn blue and that it is why they call him Bluetoes.

What is the name of the old (late 80’s ish) Christmas cartoon where a teddy bear crashes his plane near the north pole? I remember that he was wearing a scarf…there is a cartoon which is similar to the one I am thinking of, but not the same. I’m not sure, maybe one of the Care Bears Cartoons. They wore scarfs sometimes. As for the Video you could order it from a video store, see if a department store can get it in or check out second hand stores,thrift stores, garage sales, check on line, and or see if a friend has it.

They may have had the parents permission and good intentions but they did not consider Haitian law about leaving the country with minor Haitian citizens. I am not 100% on the good intentions part because some adoptive people seem to be so very desperate.

I beleive they were honestly trying to do what was best.
The question is what exactly were they doing.
- Did they take these children who were either orphaned or who the parents gave up so they could give them a better life?
- Or were they thinking the kids would grow up with the evils of voodoo and therefore thought taking them, even without parental consent, would be the best thing for the child?

If it is the 1st, they are completely innocent. If the 2nd, although they might have had the best of intentions in their hearts, would still be kidnapping.

But they were Baptists. I am in Texas and I know Baptists. Although hyper-conservative, they aren’t typically the "holy-roller" types. So I think it is likely that they had consent from the surviving parents. Maybe they would still be guilty of some crime, but not kidnapping, which is what they are charged with.

I don’t know what it means to drug traffic someone. I have a degree in criminal justice, but I have never before seen ‘drug traffic’ used as a verb.

Anyway, they’re clearly guilty. They’re guilty because they took children without any lawful authority to do so. That’s kidnapping, and they don’t seem to deny having done that. I can’t see any real basis upon which you could argue that they’re innocent.
Also, they weren’t taking orphans. They were taking children, with virtually no consideration as to whether they had families. They even lied to children, telling them their parents had died when they hadn’t, so that the kids would go with them. What they were doing was disgusting, those kids have been through too much already.

* Impact opens with an Abyss promo. He says he is not medically cleared to work tonight but he needs answers. He calls out Mick Foley and says he owes him answers. Mick Foley comes out with three TNA security guys. Foley questions why he would owe Abyss anything. He says does he owe Chris the 24 plus years of blood, sweat and tears? He asks does he owe him for paving the way for guys like Abyss? Does he owe him for the flannel shirt? Foley answers, no, he doesn’t owe him anything. Abyss says he just wanted to save Foley. He says the picture was an accident because he went to get the barbwire bat to help Foley and knocked the picture off the wall. Foley asks if he gave Chris permission to go into his office. He asks if he gave him permission to get his back. Foley looks back and says he didn’t need Abyss before. He questions if he needed him when he was flying off the Hell in a Cell. He questions if he needed him in Japan when losing flesh. He questions if he needed him when he lost his ear in Germany. Abyss says Foley is… no… was his hero. * Christy Hemme b. Traci Brooks in a Battle of the Playboy Models after a sunset flip out of the corner. Traci attacked Hemme after the match and laid her out.

* Tara joins Mike Tenay and Don West on commentary for Awesome Kong w/Raisha Saeed vs. ODB for the TNA Knockout Women’s Championship. Saeed shoved Tara so Tara goes after Saeed. This distracted Kong, who grabbed Tara, but it allowed ODB to schoolgirl Kong for the win. ODB is mad that Tara interfered and bumps her. She shoves her back and they exchange blows. Kong comes back in and cleans house by giving them both Implant Busters.

* Hernandez vs. Kurt Angle ends on a double count out. World Elite comes out and attacks someone and it turns into a pull apart between the Main Event Mafia and World Elite backstage.

* The Beautiful People come out for a promo. Velvet Sky says that due to contractual reasons, Angelina Love is no longer in The Beautiful People. Sky and Madison Rayne want to come clean and say they’re not proud of their actions in the past year. They say it was largely due to Angelina. Madison said Angelina turned them into monsters and made them do things they didn’t want too. Now that she’s gone they want to show their true colors and apologize for every heinous act they did. They want to start fresh with a clean slate. They call out Sarita and Taylor Wilde so they can apologize in person and wish them luck in their match at Bound For Glory. Sarita and Wilde come out as Velvet and Madison apologize and ask for forgiveness. They shake hands then The Beautiful People attack them. Taylor and Sarita get the upper hand but Lacey Von Erich makes the save. She beats up Taylor and puts the Claw on Sarita. She poses with The Beautiful People to end the segment.

* Eric Young vs. Matt Morgan was being taped when Kurt Angle hit the ring dressed as a fan. He hit Morgan with a chair. The Main Event Mafia come out and attack Young. World Elite come out and it’s a full on brawl. Every security guard comes out to break it up. The brawl is stopped then restarted. Agents Terry Taylor, Simon Diamond and Scott D’Amore come out to help. The brawl keeps stopping and restarting. Angle was dressed as a fan that had been in the crowd dressed as Abyss. At some point they switched out.

* Beer Money, Inc. join Mike Tenay and Don West on commentary and drink some beer with Taz. Team 3D & Lashley b. The British Invasion w/Rob Terry & Rhino after Lashley got the Dragon Sleeper on Doug Williams. Team 3D and Beer Money drink beer afterwards. Samoa Joe comes out and chokes Lashley out.

Can we end a very Eggy debate? Are they healthy or not?
I think it’s time people sort out there issues with eggs.

All my life I’ve heard that eggs are unhealthy because they’re high in cholesterol, clog your arteries, lacking in nutrition, etc etc.

Now I’m finding that others claim eggs are a miracle food, that the study "proving" the uselessness of eggs as a nutritious food were rigged by the Cereal industry by using "dried egg yolk powder" instead of actual eggs to test their nutrition content.

I myself did not eat many eggs for years, since toast was an easier breakfast for two years, and I was not a healthy person.

SO, what is the reality? It seems to me that eggs are better, cheaper, and tastier than the expensive pop tarts and cereals we’ve been trained by our Corporations to eat and get fat on. Have I missed something?

It starts regarding this mafia boss the FBI are stalking. They later find out that he is after a heart of his enemy. But right at the end of the movie, you find out that they guy the mafia boss was actually after, was his own Son, he had sex with a stripper some odd 40 years ago and had a kid that he disowned. Now he needs a heart transplant so he puts out a hit for 1,000,000 bucks for any assassin that can get it to him.
